Clubhouse Rental Agreement
This document formalizes an agreement between
Mr/Mrs/Ms_________________________
who reside at ____________________________ in the Chickering subdivision and the Chickering Homeowners Association (CHA). Mr/Mrs/Ms__________________ agree to pay all of the fees and costs outlined in Exhibit A in connection with renting the Chickering Homeowners Association Clubhouse and Clubhouse area. The homeowner agrees that by signing the document below that they (and not their representative) will attend the entire function that is occurring at the clubhouse. In addition, they and they alone will be fully responsible to the Chickering Homeowners Association for any and all damages which might occur to the Clubhouse, Clubhouse area, and immediately surrounding property as a result of the function for which they are responsible. Any such damage and subsequent costs to repair the damage will be determined by the CHA Board member and/or Board designee responsible for Clubhouse rental. The responsible homeowner will receive a bill for the cost of such repair and is expected to pay such cost in full. The amount will be billed with the next regular quarterly homeowners dues statement. Any appeal or contesting of the damage or cost to repair such damage must be made directly to the Chickering Homeowners Board of Directors within 15 calendar days of receipt of the amount of the bill. It is suggested that prior to any event, function or party that the Chickering homeowner who has signed below and is responsible for the party do a complete tour of the Clubhouse, Clubhouse area and immediately surrounding grounds and make any notes regarding defects of such property that are clearly apparent and then submit them to the Board member and/or Board designee responsible for Clubhouse rental.
If the pool is to be used in conjunction with this Clubhouse Rental and the event will include more than 10 swimmers, Renter must also contact VP/Pool -Paul Higgs. Contact with Paul must be made within 5 days of confirmation of Rental Date.
Having more than 10 swimmers may require an additional Lifeguard present and that cost will be the responsibility of the Renter.
Signature below acknowledges all the terms and conditions described above as well as the fee schedule set forth in Exhibit A.

SCHEDULE OF FEES
1) BASE RENTAL FEE - Minimum Charge is $100.00 for up to 50 people. Over 51 people, the minimum charge is $200.00. All Fees are for a 4 hour time period.
The maximum number of people allowed at any event, inside the clubhouse, is 75 based on fire safety regulations.
2) SECURITY DEPOSIT AND CLEANING FEE A $150 security deposit is required which includes a non-refundable $50 cleaning fee. To the extent that no damages result from the function being held and the Club house is cleaned to the satisfaction of our Rental Agent, these funds will be returned in full. To the extent that any damages do occur these funds will be used to offset the cost of repair or any cleaning costs required. The deposit amount however does not limit liability in any manner. If damages or cleaning costs exceed the deposit amount the balance will be owed to the CHA based on the terms of the written agreement.
