Chickering Pool Rules
1.) Swimming is only permitted when a lifeguard is present.

2.) Admission to the pool is limited to members in good standing, their families and 3 guests per household.

3.) Parties involving 10 or more people must be approved by the Chickering Pool V.P. Rental costs will be charged IF the party includes NON Chickering residents.

If the V.P. determines that an additional Lifeguard will be required, the Homeowner must reimburse the CHA for those costs.

If the Club House is used for the party, Rental Costs will apply as well. Residents must contact the ClubHouse Rental agent to reserve the Clubhouse.

4.) Admission to the pool is refused to persons having any contagious disease or infectious condition.

5.) Only proper swimming apparel will be allowed in the pool; no shorts or cut-offs.

6.) Food, drinks, gum and tobacco products will be allowed in designated areas only.

7.) Please dispose of all trash in proper containers.

8.) Chairs and lounges are primarily for the use of adults.

9.) There will be a ten (10) minute break every hour during which adults, eighteen and over, may use the pool.

10.) No child will be permitted to swim unaccompanied in the deep end unless they have passed a swim test to include: swimming one (1) length of the pool and treading water for 60 seconds.

11.) Floats and pool toys are only allowed in the shallow end and will be limited in use if conditions warrant.

12.) No glass or breakable containers.

13.) No diving in water less than five (5) feet in depth.

14.) No swimming in diving area.

15.) No dogs or other pets.

16.) No running or rough play.

17.) No ball playing.

19.) All pool users must shower before entering the pool.

20.) Children under 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult, eighteen and over, regardless of swimming ability.

Diving Board Rules

A.) Only one (1) person at a time on the board.

B.) One (1) bounce only.

C.) Dive only off the end of the board.

D.) Always check the area around the board before starting your dive.

E.) After diving swim directly out of the diving area.

F.) No handstands or sitting on the board.

G.) Do not hang on the diving board.

H.) No running on the board.

I.) No floatation devices in the diving area.
